“Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding. For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver and her gain than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies, and all the things you may desire cannot compare with her.” Prov. 3:13-15
Marriage was designed by God with a greater purpose than itself, yet nowadays, few couples ever get beyond the “trinity of me”. These days, couples are daily trumped by the devil’s lie and society’s mantra of “me myself and I”; jumping in and out of relationships like some sort of sporting event.
Yet for those of us who chose to consistently seek the Lord with all that we are, God promises to met us personally and bless us beyond our dreams. “For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him.” 2 Chr. 16:9. “For surely, O Lord, You bless the righteous; you surround them with Your favor as with a shield.” Ps. 5:12
Let’s each choose to “go the distance”…God’s way.
